Christmas Lights at Lobethol

Lobethol is a small town in The Adelaide Hills which has a lot of Christmas lights on every single house. There were lots and lots of people watching the lights and we saw Santa Claus with his Elves giving out sweets and presents.
We also saw Baby Jesus in a play called The Nativity. The play was about Baby Jesus being born in stable under a bright star. There were Three Wise Men who brought Baby Jesus presents and the Angels came down to celebrate the Birth of Baby Jesus. There were also Shepherds who told everyone that Baby Jesus was special. Mary and Joseph (Baby Jesus' Mummy and Daddy) put him in the stable in a bed called a Manger.
We saw a white dove with the angels and I stroked it. The Shepherds had a stick called a staff and had sheep and goats.
Everyone sang Christmas carols and I enjoyed myself.

On the beach at Glenelg

Today we went to the beach at Glenelg which is close to my Baka's (Grandma's) house. We played on the lovely sandy beach and collected shells. We met some people from UK who had driven from Melbourne and were very tired because it took 8 hours.
Jai went swimming with Mummy in the sea. Jai was naughty because he threw his shoes in the water. Jai did't wear any swimming trunks!!

The Rodney Fox Great White Shark Experience

We went to learn all about Great White Sharks because my Mummy went diving with Rodney Fox in a shark cage in 1999.
Mummy and Daddy told me everything there is to know about Great White Sharks but I just had to see for myself.
I think the most interesting thing was seeing a film of Rodney Fox when he got bitten by A Great White Shark in 1964. He survived the attack and dedicated his life to researching the life of The Great White Shark.

Santa Claus Came To Our House!

After I wrote a list for Santa asking for presents because I was a good girl, he gave me a lolly and a dolly and a camera and a pink tent and a Dora computer.
Santa was dressed in a 'coch' tunic and pants with a 'gwyn' beard so that he couldn't kiss with his lips.. When he arrived he said Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho!
Santa also brought presents for Pepa (my Cousin) and her Mummy (Nina) and Cica (My Auntie) and Keka (my Auntie) and Baka.
Santa brought presents for my Brother Jai; a bike, a colouring table and lollies and a Bob The Builder

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

I spent my first Day in an Australian School yesterday. I made lots of new friends and a big girl called Layla looked after me. The schools is very different to Bodafon in Wales. Instead of wearing jumpers and tights we wear skirts and sandels. When we go outside instead of putting our coats on we have to put suncream on to protect our skin from the very strong sun's rays.

I will send some pictures of the school and my friends when I have a minute!!

Last night we went to a 'Party In The Park' which was a fun evening with lots of other children singing Christmas carols and getting their faces painted and playing on a bouncy castle.

There were lots of different boys and girls with darkskin and olive skin, light skin and green skin (that was an Elf!!) It was interesting to see lots of different people from different places and to play with them.
Just like in Wales, it is going to be Christmas soon. Its funny to thing that Christmas things still happen even though the weather feels like summertime. Everyone was wearing teeshirts and skirts or shorts and singing 'Silent Night' and 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer'. It was very strange when Santa Claus appeared in his red suit and white beard. He came along to ask if we had been good and what we wanted for Christmas. I told him that I wanted a Barbie tent!! I hope he thinks that I have been a good girl...
