An Evening in Hong Kong

We went for a walk in the evening and saw a lot of Chinese boys and girls who were very friendly.

We saw an elephants tusk called ivory. There were lots of people and a house carved in the ivory.

We also saw babies/nymphs carved in green stone called Jade.

Afterwards we looked at pretty lights on the skyscrapers from our bedroom window.
After the lightshow we went for a walk in a place called ‘Kowloon’ We saw lots of Christmas lights coloured white, pink, red and silver.

We walked along a busy road with lots of cars and noise. Old men were sleeping in the shop doorways. We saw a Mc Donald’s but Mummy and Daddy wanted to eat Chinese food.

We went to a night market and saw ladies buying silk dresses and watches, my Daddy bought me a ‘Bratz’ watch.

We went to a street cafe and ate Chinese food with chopsticks and I ate some fruit from Hong Kong called ‘Custard Apple’. Then we went back to the hotel to sleep.
